Abigail L. Bliss
MA, LPC, ATR/BC
I’ve been an LPC and art therapist for awhile now but I’ve been an artist most of my life. Being able to blend art and therapy has been personally and professionally rewarding. We can talk through your emotional struggles. But for clients interested in exploring a nonverbal means of expression through the art process, art therapy can be the shift that is needed for change and healing.
I have a master’s degree in art therapy. I am a registered and board certified art therapist, a licensed professional counselor and I am trained in play therapy. My work experience includes both medical and mental health settings. My goal is to offer support and to challenge you to discover peace in the unfolding and process of life. I see children as young as five, adolescents and adults in all stages of life.
If we agree to work together, we will work collaboratively to address the issues you want to address and discover ways to cope with overwhelming emotions that are helpful for you. My work with clients has included help with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationships, stress, trauma, childhood issues , individuals dealing with medical and health issues and life transitions.
I approach therapy from a client centered, strengths based and experiential viewpoint. I use narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with clients to help them process their life challenges and discover solutions that fit them. For clients who are inspired to work experientially I use art therapy. Most importantly, I will listen without judgement.
When I am not working, I enjoy making art, listening to music, reading, practicing yoga and spending time with my dog.
Robin Hicks,
LPC, LADC
I’ve worn many hats throughout my career, from guidance counselor to case manager to therapist. At one point I owned my own business specializing in trompe l’oeil murals and decorative paintings in homes and businesses.
Throughout my career – both as a counselor and as a muralist – I’ve come to realize that it’s not about my goals or my expectations. It’s about my clients and what they hope to achieve, whether in their home or in counseling.
I began my career as a psychiatric technician working with kids and later in a group home for adults. I fell in love with the work and the concept of hope and change.
Depression, trauma, substance abuse, and unhealthy relationships are often debilitating. Sometimes, the coping that serves you in the short-term can manifest into lifestyles that do not serve you in the long-term. After 25 years in the mental health field, I believe in our capacity to navigate and learn from our difficulties. You are the expert on yourself.
As a client, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for you to heal, develop insight, and move forward. I am open minded and relational in my approach. I am credentialed with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing PEER Assistance Program and Oklahoma Pharmacists Helping Pharmacists. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, gardening, and live theatre.

My clients are adults who want deep healing from grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other wounds to find wholeness in self and relationships again. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Every journey is different. I help my clients uncover what they may have forgotten and move towards the path of growth and healing
My practice focuses on grief therapy, dream tending, mindfulness, active imagination, images, and other forms of symbolic expression. Through individual counseling and dream group work, I assist those who are ready to trust their inner guidance and bravely explore the dark. Even the most difficult challenge can hold gifts for us. My journey to becoming a counselor began with a series of devastating losses. After losing my husband and other family members, I felt lost myself. Having always been fascinated by mythology, I saw how these ancient stories could offer comfort and insight into the human experience. As I delved deeper I found my true calling while studying mythology. with an emphasis in depth psychology, a practice based in Carl Jungs’s psychoanalytic therapy. I pursued certificatioin in loss and trauma from University of the Southwest in New Mexico. I began giving talks on mythology, grief, and death, sharing what I had learned with others who were struggling with their own losses. I am humbled by the stories I hear and the wisdom gained by my clients. If you choose to work with me, I will be with you every step of the way, listening to your story and helping you discover the path to healing and growth.

I believe in being client-centered and working collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals. I understand that everyone’s journey is unique, and I am here to support you on your timeline. Together, we will work towards your goals, using the tools and approaches that are best suited to your needs
I specialize in working with adults with a focus on couples, families, and relationships. I use a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including emotion-focused therapy, and strength based therapy. My journey to becoming a therapist was an unexpected one. With a father who was a writer and director, and a mother who was an actress I spent most of my life immersed in the creative arts. I studied musical theatre, film, and television at Oklahoma City University, and after graduation, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of becoming an actress. But the entertainment industry can be a difficult and unpredictable profession and I struggled with the pressures and uncertainty of the business. It was then that I began to turn my attention to psychology, which had always fascinated me. As an actor, I had to get into the minds of my characters and understand their motivations. I realized that the same principles applied to understanding anxiety and panic attacks that began in 7th grade. The help others who were struggling with similar issues. I am passionate about helping people find healing, growth, and fulfillment in their lives. I am here to support you every step of the way, as we embark on this journey together.

I love working with teens, families and couples and have special emphasis on those who are members of sexual and gender minorities, or just trying to figure it out. As a green country native, investing in the wellbeing of our community has been the core of my work since 2012. I feel privileged as I watch clients discover a life not just with less barriers, but with more joy through the therapy process.
I often use Humanistic, Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Emotion-Focused theories as therapeutic models to help clients strive for growth and balance. Additionally, I am trained in CPT, TF-CBT, CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
To recharge I enjoy cooking, gardening, crocheting, and puzzles.

My strong faith, commitment to serve and passion for helping others live their best life led me to the counseling profession after retiring from the US military. I have been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health since 2007 and have worked in hospitals, drug court and private practice.
At Synergy Wellbeing, I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with addictions, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and PTSD. I enjoy helping couples and families repair and improve their relationships. I offer caring, compassionate Client Centered therapy with a focus on understanding you and your needs. I am certified in EMDR for trauma recovery and use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice.
As a therapist, there’s no better feeling than helping someone break free of the prison of addiction and live a good life. I always tell my clients, “You are the best psychologist in the room.” I want to help you find purpose in your life and will help you find your own solutions and guide you toward the life you want for yourself. I can make a difference in your life by improving your self-confidence and helping you address mental health, relationship, or addiction challenges.
I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Human Services and minor in Business from Upper Iowa University in 2000. In 2006 I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and family, reading non-fiction and historical literature, fishing, bowling, and watching team sports. I volunteer at my local church and in the community and believe in helping others “live their best dream.”

My resume – like my life – is a rich tapestry of experiences. I traveled extensively with my husband while he was in the military, which gave me the opportunity to meet people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. It also taught me flexibility.
When my husband retired from the military, we moved back to Tulsa where I worked as a teacher and counselor for private and public schools, including my alma mater, Will Rogers High School. I worked with students, as well as their teachers, parents, and the school administrators.
All these experiences helped to shape my holistic approach to therapy. I believe in addressing the whole person – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I work with women, men and couples 16 and older, as well as Veterans and their families. I help my clients address a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and PTSD and give my clients the tools they need to enhance their lives.
If we agree to work together, you can expect eclectic combination of therapeutic models including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Anxiety Reduction, Stress Relief, and Narrative. If your Christian faith is a source of strength and comfort for you, I can incorporate that into the counseling process, as well. But most importantly, we will talk regularly about what’s working and not working for you and adjust as needed.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling with my husband, sailing, reading and spending time with my family.

I became a therapist after teaching voice and music lessons for 35 years. While that may sound like an abrupt career change, it was a natural transition for me. My students often wanted to discuss the issues of their lives with me and found that I was an understanding and empathetic listener who was able to help them find hope again. Teaching vocal music also helped me to understand and truly observe how much we communicate nonverbally through body language and tone, in addition to our words.
As a therapist, I work with individuals 14 and older who have experienced trauma, are struggling with anxiety, phobias, PTSD, depression, and grief. I also work with individuals who have been diagnosed with personality disorders, or mood disorders such as Bi-Polar Disorder. I am experienced and comfortable with a diversity of ages, genders, lifestyles, experiential histories, cultures, and nationalities.
If we agree to work together, you can expect a ccombination of Person-Focused Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am certified as a Trauma Treatment Specialist, as well as in Thought Field Therapy, which is highly effective in treating trauma and other challenges. My goal is to help you learn to better manage emotions such as stress or anger and recover from divorce or other life losses. We will explore together how you want your life to be different and agree on the best way to get there.
I have an adorable partner – my therapy dog in training, Shadow. She is a “bringer of joy” and helps my clients feel more open and relaxed. She is wonderfully attuned to feelings and will sometimes sit with you as you release your feelings through words, tears, or even silence – all without judgement.

I’ve always wanted to understand people and connect with them so they feel heard and seen. I believe that we all benefit when we pause and reflect on our lives. Sometimes, however, we need a trained person to help us find the pause button. It’s amazing how just one hour out of our busy lives can help us gain perspective.
After earning my master’s degree in social work, I spent the first 20 years of my career working in end-of-life care. First at an end-stage cancer hospital in New York City and later at a Tulsa hospital’s palliative care team. I transitioned to private practice in 2007 so I could do more in-depth work with a wider variety of people. Also, I feel like I have a knack for helping folks examine and process the narrative to their life.
Throughout my career, I’ve been honored to walk alongside people who were ill, grieving, or struggling with any number of life’s obstacles. I specialize in grief, stress, anxiety, depression, transitions, parenting, and chronic illness. I work with individuals who have been hurt by or are struggling with religion, and I am LGBTQ+ friendly.
If we work together, I’ll help you create an individualized care plan that may include talk therapy, mindfulness, narrative, and/or cognitive-behavioral therapy (to name a few). I don’t see therapy as me diagnosing you, but rather as two people figuring things out together.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy gardening, listening to music, being with my family, swimming and experiencing nature.

My great passion has always been helping people, so entering the helping profession was a natural fit for my personality. It’s a privilege for me to help people make their lives better – and the biggest reward is seeing my clients become hopeful about their future by gaining confidence in themselves.
I work with individuals and families who are dealing with either addiction or mental health issues. I treat mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, addiction and intervention issues, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions and spirituality as it applies to recovery. I have a master’s degree in psychology and am a certified Stephen Minister. In that role, I’m a volunteer layman who provides one-to-one pastoral care to those experiencing grief and loss.
If we agree to work together, I will listen to you without judgement. I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so you can expect a range of treatment methods. We will weave together Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Functional Family Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, Narrative Therapy.
In my free time, I love working with textiles to create quilted portraits and paintings. Seeing the pieces of cloth come together to form a picture is similar to the therapeutic process. When you experience grief and loss, your life can unravel. I can help you knit together the characteristics that promote clarity, focus, self-confidence, and trust to have and maintain quality of life.

When you walk through our doors, I’m often the first face you’ll see. I love helping people access the care they need and seeing the positive impact therapy can have on their lives.
As part of my role, I work closely with our Care Navigator, Zaynah, to ensure that our clients are matched with the right therapist. We understand that everyone’s needs are different, and we want to make sue you’re connected with the best person to help you thrive. It’s my job to make sure your claims get processed accurately and that you understand the cost associated with your care. I enjoy building relationships with our clients, unsurers, therapists, and ensuring that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. One of the best parts of my job is a never get bored. There’s always something new to learn or a new challnege to tackle. I understand the value of therapy and have seen the positive impact it can have on people’s lives. As one of our clients put it “wow, this actually does work”. That’s the kind of feedback that makes my day, and it’s why I’m so passionate about what I do. It’s rewarding to be a part of that journey and to know that we’re making a difference in people’s lives.

I specialize in working with young people under 12 and adults. I am client-centered in my appraoch, which means that I will work with you to develop a plan to help you move forward toward your personalized life goals. We will work together in a way that tretches you but is manageable for you. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I specialize in helping people recover from trauma, anxiety, and substance abuse. I use evidence-based approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to help my clients aheive their goals. One of the most gratifying expriences as a therapist is when my clients trust me enough to open up and share their deepest fears and concerns. It’s a privelege to be the person they turn to for support and guidance. When a client says “I’ve never told anyone that before” I know we’re starting from a place of honesty and vulnerability, which is essential to the therapeutic process. Working with people is my passion. I am committed to providing a safe, non-juedgmental, and compassionate enviroment where you can grow, heal, and thrive.
