Anger Management

Anger Management Counseling

Anger isn’t good or bad. It’s healthy and normal to feel angry when you’ve been mistreated or wronged. The feeling isn’t the problem—it’s what you do with it that matters. Anger becomes a problem when it harms you or others.

  • Do you frequently find yourself in arguments with friends, family, co-workers, or acquaintances?
  • Do you often find yourself holding in feelings of anger?
  • Do you usually blame others for problems in your life?
  • Do you often feel the need to “vent” your anger and end up hurting the feelings of someone that’s important to you?
  • Have you ever hurt someone physically when you were angry?
  • Do you find yourself unable to control your words or actions when you get angry?
  • Do you often regret or feel guilty about what you said or how you treated someone when you were angry?

If you, or those that are important to you, feel that your anger is out of control; if it is having an impact on your relationships, your job, your health or other important parts of your life, you might consider counseling to learn how to handle it better.

The counselors at The Synergy Center can work with you in developing a range of techniques for changing your thinking and your behavior so that you can take charge and manage your anger, rather than your anger taking charge of you. Synergy counselors can also help you recognize and address the things in your life that are causing you to feel so much anger, helping you to feel calmer and more satisfied with your life.
